Misch Bobrick Design was pleased to have participated in the 2012 St. Margaret’s Hospital Guild Decorators’ Show House & Gardens.
For our inspiration, we imagined clients that appreciate clean lines, local artists and a bit of glamor. The room represents how a room can evolve over time. We mixed antiques with new furniture. Note how wonderfully the modern loveseat from Hancock and Moore in the Louis XVI Style with a lacquered frame raised on paneled legs compliments the antique Chippendale side chairs.
Highlights of our room include a 5 panel custom mirrored screen made by Kris Needler which amplifies and reflects the space. It is a versatile object that can divide a room or hide a flaw.
The custom wood with metal tables by local furniture artist, Donald Mee, bridge traditional style with contemporary aesthetics.
The sculptural accessories, by Ryan Feeney of Indy Art Forge, bring life and character to this space.
Now that the showhouse tours have ended, some of the pieces featured in our room are availible for purchase. If you saw any small items that you think might look interesting in your home, or were inspired to redo a room around a larger item, please call us to arrange a time to meet.
