A detail of the entry hall of a recently completed project. A steel, glass, and maple stair floats against a crisply paneled wall. A hammered bronze bench and a serene sculpture of Quan Yin, the goddess of mercy, sit on a custom Canadian maple herringbone floor. It is an elegant welcome and a hint of things to come in this completely transformed 1910 Victorian home in downtown Indianapolis. We spent more than a year planning and implementing the total reconstruction and decoration of this home, turning a hundred year old relic into a home for the 21st century.
