In a relatively small footprint in this downtown high rise penthouse, we designed a kitchen with multiple work-spaces and plenty of storage. Seating at the island uses contemporary steel and leather chairs. The white lacquered cabinets in the background are complimented by the rich blue lacquer on the island cabinetry. An iridescent glass mosaic tile covers the backsplash, with pale natural granite used as a counter top. A large pantry is tucked around the corner behind a sliding door.
