Garage Addition

Providing space for a clients collections is not often a major undertaking, this one was a little different however. A lineup of vintage automobiles required a large space, and the addition had to harmonize with the important mid-century residence that sprawled across this wooded ravine. How at home they look, polished, nestled in their new garage addition. The solution was to design a separate structure that when seen from the existing house  did not look like a garage. French doors and a deep roof overhang, matching exterior cladding and colors and sensitive placement on the site give the feeling that it has always been here.
