We installed the custom hardwoods in a herringbone pattern to add drama and to visually connect this open plan kitchen with the living spaces surrounding it . The pattern made by the Canadian maple is softened with a custom taupe stain color, and coordinates with the spectacular marble island with waterfall ends.
