A closer look at the seating group by the fireplace at the 2013 St. Margaret’s Hospital Guild Decorators’ Show House. The luxurious cut velvet makes a bold statement. An antique firegrate holds greenery and flowers for the summer. Classical figure drawings are framed simply for the wall above the mantle. The beautiful marble floor of black and white squares framed by a black border was moved from the Grand Hotel in downtown Indianapolis in the 1930’s when the hotel was demolished.
